They are offering digital cable,high-speed internet, and phone ( free long distance) all for $99 month ( for 12 months), then it goes to about $140 ( so they say).

I'm currently paying them $127 W/O the phone, then paying ATT for the phone. You keep old phone #.

I'm signing up now, on hold, taking a long time.

I have had the same deal with Time Warner Cable for the past 8 months and it is great. I only pay $85 a month though because I did not add-on the porn channels

It does sort of suck during hurricane season though, because when the electricity goes out, so does your phone. But that is why we have cell phones

You get a modem with battery back-up that would power your phone, if power goes out.

My actual bill will be $119.46 instead of the prior $127.43, and I kill the ATT bill.

Sounds good to me.

I guess that my modem doesnt have a battery backup then. Because when the electricity goes out, the phone doesnt work.

But I rarely use the home phone anyway. But maybe i will call and ask about a new modem

They have had that deal for a while now. They can keep their sorry ass Cable TV.

And the phone they put a little box in your home, I'm all set with that too. Meaning NO.

Really just waiting on Verizon FIOS. Thats the real deal! As it stands I use a seperate provider for all 3 services. DTV, Verizon phone, Comcast cable inet.

No way Comcast cable compares with DTV.

I can't have Direct TV with a dish, can't put it on a condo. I don't think I have any option other than Comcast right now.

amen....i am on the board of our association and all it took was one call to a lawyer for our association to be put in it's place...(the phone call by the way was from me several years ago) the one thing we were able to do was to make sure everyone mounted them in the same place..(we chose top of chimney)

most places choose patio or something as simple as a bucket with a pole in it

I never really tried to challenge them, but I think I might be able to win some things, if I did.

They have a lot of BS rules here. One is no commercial vehicles. I have two assigned parking spots. By their rules, if I worked for Joe's Painting and had a company truck labeled "Joe's Painting", then I can't park it in my space. They prohibit motorcycles, so I couldn't park a bike in my spots either, that's BS !

I think I could beat either of those restrictions, the place is like senior housing.

I'm less sure about putting up stuff on a roof.
