Its tough at all times for the troops but especially during the Holidays when they are away from their families. I think its important we never forget or look over what they are doing for us overseas. Although a lot of us probably dont support this war we most certainly need to Support the Troops... Here is a link below to show your appreciation to the troops. Even if its the smallest of donations, everything adds up and helps them during these tough times.

You know, the troops chose to enlist. And they're getting paid and taken care of.

I'm not taking for granted that they're defending us and whatnot, but why not donate to people who need the money a lot more, like the homeless or an orphanage or something?

Skins, I kind of agree but the good will is there and alot of military families are dirt broke, don't get paid shit and the kids have not seen their fathers in a long time and get very little for Christmas - I'd say Hanukah too but no jew is dumb enough to enlist while Bush is President.

Myself, my friend is dressing as Santa - I'm buying some toys and he's going to deliver them to a hospital in Jersey - I won't be there and I'm glad - I don't need to see a bunch of little kids suffering in a hospital over Christmas

Yeah its their choice to enlist and they do get paid but they risk their lives for our freedom. Last I checked the homeless can clean themselves up and get a job flipping burgers or something. I wish I had more money to donate so I choose wisely and I feel troops, Cancer research, are the 2 that mean the most to me. My brothers friend lost a leg in Iraq and I saw him 2 weeks ago in a wheel chair missing his left leg and I had to leave the room bc I didnt want to cry in front of him. Have known him my whole life as he was one of my brothers best friends and to see him in a wheel chair without a leg was hard to take. I think too many people unfortunately take for granted the soldiers fighting for our freedom

They don't get taken care of enough.

1/4th of the homeless are Veterans, just saw the Barack Obama commercial. Maybe our government should make sure they get more. Just go to a Veterans Hospital once.
