Fantasy FB: Welker or Holmes

Sorry for not posting this in the FFB forum Jake, but I need some quick responses (lol -- sorry, cheap shot).

"Super Bowl" starts tonight in my league...

Someone tell me I am crazy to start Santonio Holmes tonight in lieu of Welker...

PPR league -- my other receivers are Larry Fitz and Braylon Edwards. I am just thinking that Stl pass D is worse than Miami's, and it is indoors. Also Ben supposedly is almost 100%. I think Holmes will get some deep looks, while Welker may be used in limited fashion.

Or of course I would also have the option to sit Fitz should he be announced out. He was extremely limited in practice today.

That's where I'm leaning...just hoping someone tells me I'm crazy. It would blow ride Welker all the way to the SB and then dump him and then it comes back to bite me.

Kurt Warner also got me here and I have already decided to sit him for Mcnabb this weekend.

Holmes is still recovering from an ankle injury.

Pitt is much weaker on the road.

Brady and Welker will not have another game like they had against the Jets.

Welker would be my easy choice.

Started Holmes. Wish he would have gone the distance on that 83 yard bomb. But I can't complain about a 18 point performance.

I am not sure if I am going to sit Welker or Fitz, but I like having the 18 on the board and the flexibility.

Good call , when he grabbed that bomb from the 4 , I was thinking about you ... , but hey 83 yards is a big play , touch or no ... and 18 on Thursday is a good start heading into the weekend ...
