I had under 23.5 BIG first half. I was covering with seconds to go and UCLA punted. BYU gets the ball at their ten. THey go down on 1 knee and half over, right? Wrong they decide to run, get stripped and UCLA scores with very few secs remaining. I lose. THe real kicker is I also had BYU too. They would have covered if not for this fiasco. It changed the game. BAd bad beat.

What's worse is that only 3 points were scored in the 2nd half. Unbelievable.

been there man

i know i hate losing those games that you "should have won" sometimes these fluke mishaps in a game work in your favor though. sometimes it balances out. but yeah..really sucks when you get screwed by stupid blunders

Right. UCLA did NOT COMPLETE A PASS in the first half until less than a minute to go. I mean there was very little offense to lose an under bet.

That should be automatic. Go to a knee from your ten with seconds left in the half.

Horrible decison and BYU owned this game is exactly true.

I'd argue that BYU deserved to lose because of the fact the coach thought it was a good idea to run the ball with under 30 seconds inside your own 10. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

BYU was my largest wager of the season and I agree if that fluke doesn't happen in the 1st half we win.

But let's give UCLA a little bit of credit for clamping down on BYUs running game.. If BYU had any kind of running game this would of been a 20+ victory for us.

Definitely would have won. YEah UCLA battled hard and played great defense. That play gave them the momentum they needed. I would agree. But that is what happens WHEN YOU GIFTWRAP TOUCHDOWNS for the other team! You cannot giftwrap freebies and expect to win against good teams. But UCLA did battle hard and played good defense.

Let's face it, most of the times the 'square' plays are the favorites that look like they will kill the inferior/less focused team. You just have to cap 'em like you see 'em.

They should have lost outright, so not covering was not a bad beat. I had BYU and wasn't happy about it, but we were simply on the wrong side. Don't forget the gift touchdown off the fumbled punt.

Yeah the more I think about this game the less bad I feel about it.

If I had no money on the game I would of wished UCLA won.
