Wind From the Southwest at 25 mph gusting to 38 mph.

Freezing temps, currently 17 degrees but feels 0 degrees with the wind chill.

I just got back in from outside, I threw 5 basic passes the slant,10 yard hitch, 15 yard out, fade route, and the bomb.... the wind is knocking the ball down guys! I do have a better arm than Orton though but not Favre. So look for the Bears to struggle on offense and rely on the running game and the screen pass! As for Favre he might struggle a little but never doubt #4

Just finished up Christmas shopping on south side of Chicago and thre were four interstate signs blown over, lights out, tree limbs everywhere, just brutal to be outside.

I would agree with the Green Bay rout today. Wind shouldn't affect Favre too much today. Packers lead the NFL in Yards After Catch (YAC). Pats are 2nd, but 300 yards behind.

Why wouldn't the wind effect Favre? Is he superhuman? It's going to be pretty much impossible to throw decent patterns more than 15 yards downfield. If he tries to fight it he will throw some picks. Running and screen passes will rule the day. Bears could win with turnovers if Favre tries to do too much. With Vasher back the Bears secondary is much improved and has playmakers. If GB sticks to the ground game and plays it smart they should win easily.

He can throw 5-10 yard passes all day, the wind won't affect those. Jennings will be a non-factor however.

Yeah, I'll buy that. But Favre sometimes has an itch to throw downfield. He needs to ignore that itch or he will get himself in trouble. Big plays plays unlikely today so turnovers will be huge if they happen. Bears can steal this game if GB gives the ball away. I'm looking forward to field goals. I remember a couple years ago some crazy wind seeing some funny as hell FG attempts.
