For all the superstar hype the Celtics are #1 in team defense in the NBA

Dont get me wrong their offense is great but they are even better than anyone thought cause of their defense.

They are #1 in fewest points allowed and lowest opponenet field goal pct in the NBA. They have been a goldmine when betting unders in their games also.

*though I did bet Orlando over team total 91 against them tonite and over 101 team total Boston also.

i'm surprised no one's pulled the "they haven't played anyone" card...they're a phenomenal team on offense and defense, been very fun to watch. Team ball that hasn't been played in years

since you said it, LOL. They have played the easiest schedule in the NBA so far this year according to the Sagarin computer ratings but it doesnt take a way one bit on how well they have played (IMO).

as bad as the east is after bos det and orl the big three could all croak and celts get 6th seed

even if you thought they would play unselfishly (which they have) what people failed to realize is those 3 make the other ham n eggers so much better...simple as that

You arent kidding. I have never seen an easier 23 points scored in my life than the ones Rondo got tonight. 8-10 from field? Was he ever gaurded?!

House Posey and T. Allen not exactly chopped liver to begin with though.

This is just a VERY solid team.
