They could be undefeated too. The two games they lost were one play away from winning.

13-2 losing to the Pats and Chargers... Also Indy has been banged up..

Thu 9/6 New Orleans W 41-10
Sun 9/16 at Tennessee W 22-20
Sun 9/23 at Houston W 30-24
Sun 9/30 Denver W 38-20
Sun 10/7 Tampa Bay W 33-14
bye
Mon 10/22 at Jacksonville W 29-7

If anyone was under the radar it would be Jacksonville...We already knew NE and Indy were the top two teams...just wondering if Indy is holding back Harrison or if he really is hurting...

The Jags are going to have to travel to first either San Diego or Pittsburg (depending which is the 4 seed) and if they survive that then travel to New England (Unless the the 6 seed wins somehow, then they get the Colts) - if they win there then they are looking at a game against the Colts in the Hossier Dome (or whoever beats the Colts). Very tough row to hoe - all on the road unless somehow that same 6 seed wins two games which is very unlikely seeing how it is down to either Cleveland or Tennessee.

If I were the Pats I would rather draw the Steelers in round two and let the Chargers and Colts fight it out to see who faces the Pats in the AFC championship game assuming there are not upsets by lower seeds beating higher seeds. The biggest threat is the Jags at #5 beating whoever ends up at #4 (either Pitt or SD).

dude the thread was great, they are under the radar, your statement about being undefeated is ignorance....IF (and its a big IF) the pats go 19-0 they will be the greatest team EVER assembled...no questions asked, the best teams EVER find a way to win, INDY LOST 2games you cannot make excuses for those 2 losses, ive watched every minute of the Patriots this season they "should" have lost to BALTs best shot and they found a way to win....the great ones find a way to pull it in the end when they are not at their best, EOD....

NE will win on the road next week thanks to the bills loss and if they win their 2 playoffs games at home they will go 19-0 bc they WILL NOT lose in the SB....if they get upset it will happen vs a team like SD or INDY at home as DD favs...

Jaxnvl is an example of a team that is/was "under the radar" The Colts NEVER were under the radar in any way, shape or form! Just because the Pats are the most HYPED team in the NFL does not mean that the obvious #2 is under the radar, disrespected, underrated, etc. Indy has always been viewed as the team to most likely beat Pats in playoffs and rightfully so. Come to think of it, have not heard respectable case made for any other team beating Pats..strictly Colts only. Guess that has them smack-in-the-middle of Radar screen, ay?

What is "under the radar"?

If you mean "under the radar" of most sports fans ... YES
If you mean "under the radar" of most NFL fans ... KINDA
If you mean "under the radar" of the talking heads on ESPN ... YES

... but when they go out to play the winner of the wild-card round, it's not like that team will take them lightly because of it, so it makes no difference in the grand scheme of things.

The Colts are not making headlines because they're BORING ... except for crybaby Bill Polian, they're just too good to make the news ...

I guess throwing jump balls to Moss is exciting football.

... I let out a big sigh when I have to explain posts and explain jokes, but let me try:

By boring, I am talking about "personality" ...

... but if you want to talk about game, don't dis a team that scored more TD's than anyone else in the HISTORY of the game ... come back with something better.

 just a little trash talk, nothing personal. Although I don't see how the "personality" of the Patriots is exciting.

Bill Belichick pisses people off ... he gets under their skin with his bland answers that essentially say "FUCK YOU" to the guy asking it.

... and I feel great because it was these same writers that ran all over Pete Carroll because Pete was too nice a guy ... and now they get dissed by Belichick every week, they go back for seconds, they are told to "FUCK OFF", and they wish they could trash the guy in the next day's paper but they don't dare.

You should have listened to Belichick talk to the NY media last week ... the same NY media that everyone fears

Pats life or death to win three times this season = Colts,Eagles and Ravens.. I'm not taking anything away from your team all I'm saying is, if the Colts had a little bit of luck (Vinateri missing FG vs Pats , Six Turnovers versus SD and still 6yds away from victory) they could be undefeated as well.

Say what you want but the Pats victory over the Ravens was a miracle.
