Why didnt Oakland kick the FG with 4 mins left down 10?

Makes no sense.

You have 4 mins left and one of the best kickers in the game.

It was only a 39 yard FG.

Now they go for it and dont get it.

Then they stop SD 3 and out with over 2 mins left.

The only problem now is you are down 2 scores.

cause they are the dumbest fcuking team in pro sports, and yeah i'm a raider fan. the gdamn iq of the entire orginization is well below 100.

I second that they are the dumbest team in Sports not only football. I am sure it cost alot of people alot of money on that play.

OK, so I didn't watch the game, but do have some thoughts. Al Davis and his friends allegedly enjoy friendly wagering on Raider games. Over the years, there have been several mysterious late game plays by Oakland that only make sense from a point spread point of view.
If someone were more interested in covering the 9 point more of less spread on this game, passing on the field goal and trying to make the TD makes a great deal of sense. If Oakland makes a FG, SD is not going to give the ball back easily. If Oakland makes a TD, they cover the spread, and SD will most likely sit on the ball and not score again.
Not that I think that Evil Al or the Evil Raiders would do such an alleged thing.

Because Lane Kiffin is the biggest joke of a head coach in the history of the NFL. The Raiders couldn't give their job away and they practically had to. Hope Kiffin stays there 10 yrs
