I guess I have to get use to the fact that we have an NBA team now here in Louisiana.

To be truthful I was never much of an NBA fan.
But it looks like our Hornets are forcing me to get into to it.
Going to my first HORNETS game next week.

I think im about hooked.
It looks like we have the best young point guard since Magic Johnson.

What do the NBA experts think about us?
Do we have a chance to win it all?

They are a great regular season team as they are so well coached and play each game with max intensity. Very similar to Portland in this regard and Boston to a lesser extent due to great talent. Both young teams for the most part, portland even moreso, and get the most out of their ability and do not take games off. They however, do not have the talent to compete in playoff basketball when all teams play hard. There is a common denominator though. All coached by african american coaches. They seem to get a lot out of their players in regular season games but also seem to struggle in the playoffs when adjustments need to be made, although I don't think Mcmillan would struggle on adjustments, but will struggle because of lack of talent. They probably won't make the playoffs. They are a clear fade in the near future.

you are right about portland not having much talent.take away roy and they are a bad team.not saying one player makes or breaks a team, but he is the heart and soul of portland.
