It isn't because he's smart. Seriously, what the hell could you possibly be thinking about in that instance, other than going for the jugular and running the clock out? It is mind-blowing. The thought of clock management never even crossed his mind with 4 minutes left in the 4th quarter of a bowl game. I won this bet, but I won't stop being pissed until the Rose Bowl starts.
