I was talking to a friend today about what types of other things players may be using to gain that physical, mental advantage. One of those things brought up was ammonia tablets, and I was wondering why players would take such a thing, how does it improve your performance?

Get your senses highly alert from what I've been told, I could never get into it when I played ball though. What about the batters using special colored contacts to get a better look at the ball when hitting.

When I played football I used to show the opposing players pictures of their mothers naked to throw off their focus.

I say whatever team has momentum at the moment has the advantage.

Well known among powerlifters. Weightlifting is a little more high skill, so used less. Effect only lasts for a short duration

Always the old "stink palm" in the trenches. Uhm not that I would know anything about this first hand BUT some lineman have been known to leave a little dookie after their pregrame crap.

Dip your your hand down your ass crack and get a nice sweaty turd greased palm... fire off the line and stick your hand right in the other dudes grill.

Ammonia pills get the adrenaline going. No doubt in my mind, that Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, and Brett Farve used them every game. Now you know why these guys got eyes in the back of thier heads. Their minds are thinking 3 times faster than normal.

The NFL does not consider this against the drug rules. Players used to take ammonia pills to regain focus when taking a vicious hit. Now, many football players are taking them to gain an edge on their competion now.

So , next time you wonder how Peyton Manning is able to read a defence so fast and call another play at the line of scrimmage, look super brillant with 60,000 home fans screaming in his face . You know
HE,S STONED !!!!

How is this is not considered a performance enhancing drug ???
