I know it will be tough since they will be on the road, unless they somehow face tennesee in the AFC championship game. But you have to think that they have the defense/offense/head coach that can match up against anyone.

8 wild card teams in the last 37 years have made it to the superbowl and 4 have won. Not great odds, but not impossible. And of course, if they manage to make it to the superbowl, they should be a fave against any of the crappy NFC teams.

Better bet is Seattle +5000 to win it.

Exactly.....Seattle can beat anyone in the NFC and if they matchup with anyone except the Pats they can win it all. 50-1 is NUTS...people can't really be THIS sold on Dallas can they?

Actually just took +5250 at the Greek. The league owes Seattle one

I'll be at the game Saturday. League wants Washington to win and they will. Something about playing hard for a guy that got whacked this year....and yadda yadda yadda..........oh yeah, and a rematch with "Americas Team"!

Took a little of Seattle on January 31st myself at +7600. Number has fallen quite a bit since then. Grabbed some Jax +2800, too.

Prime,

To be honest I see no value in the price. I am certain you would be far better off parlaying the ML. Personally I hate backing teams in futures when I could have had twice the value just a couple weeks earlier

Jacksonville will be without Stroud and Peterson, two key players on defense. Sure they play a physical style run game and run defense, but their pass defense is suspect and they have no big threats in the receiving game. I don't see this team posing a threat to anyone like the media is hyping it up to be. Indy already beat them twice.

Pittsburgh needs to come out 4-5 wide, spread the field, run a hurry up offense and keep scoring. this will take Jax out of their running game if Pitt gets up 2+ scores, and Garrard, while having a good year, will not be able to pass them back into it. Pittsburgh will then get ass blasted again at NE.

Yeah I don't see anyone giving New England a game except Indianapolis.

Probably right, but at least i got that first win under my belt. Line is down to about 15 to 1 in most places now. Obviously the key to this bet was to get past the pats next week. I think they can.

The seattle backers also look good after their win this past week.

Should be interesting to see how both teams do next week.

Actually you'd make a lot more if you'd bet the same amount on Jags ML vs Pats then keep letting it ride on the ML. They'd be dogs in every game.

As crazy as it may sound, i am looking forward to the Jags playing the Colts in the AFC Championship game. Yeah, the colts beat the Jags twice this year, but i just think that the Jags style of play matches up best against the colts in a playoff game.

But first things first, we have to beat the Pats this saturday.

Jax won Saturday and the odds are still just about 20-1. That tells you just how bad this +2050 was at the time. Yikes. Futures like this are almost always just awful...just bet the ML and parlay it to the next game. Better odds.
