I think Oklahoma should be #1 ... just so Stoops doesn't have a hissy fit and cry ... and it won't matter in the long run because he'll choke away a game anyways.

Well Oklahoma has a very good team. It's not like they are some fraud shit team sneaking into a bowl. They were without 2 starting defensive backs and 2 starting defensive lineman I believe and also a guy or two on offense, plus a raw freshman quarterback.

They were outclassed and seems like Stoops really has a hard time getting his teams prepared for post-season play. They were unprepared, undisciplined and out smarted and out coached by an interim. Plus they didn't look to hungry these past few bowl games. No other choice than to blame the head coach.

With all those intangibles, they were still anywhere from a 7 to 9 point fav and I think a lot of people had that West Vir vs Pitt game locked in mind when making a decision.

Ou usually gets a lot of preseason respect so I ranked then accordingly. Not to what i think they do or don't deserve, but more of what the press and such will release.

Start naming teams. Is Booty a senior I don't know. I never liked him anyway and whoever replaces him should be an upgrade. Sanchez probably.

I know Georgia has a great team as it is this year and are all fairly young and not losing much. I look for them to finally make a strong serious run at title.

Notre Dame oughta have a good season next year.. not within the Top 5..

Tebow will shine next year.. Hawaii won't make a bowl for the next five years.. people won't have their late bail out team

Not sure who LSU is losing. This is all speculation for conversation and debating sakes.

Hell if Henne, Hart, Long, Manningham and Arrington weren't all leaving, along with an up and coming Matthews. Some awesome recruits in McGuffie and that kid out of Pennsylvania. I'd step out and label Michigan number 1 preseason.

I think Rich Rodriguez will do a hell of a job there. Win some Big Ten titles, finally beat Ohio St and perhaps win a few bowl games, but national championship wise I just don't think he's that guy. Not a big game coach.

To lay an egg vs a shitty woeful Wanny coached team in Pitt really put a bad taste in my mouth and I didn't have a cent on it. He reminds me of a guy that can build a program up to a top ten type team, but never get ya over the hump.

WV with White, Slaton, and Divine coming back may get into the top 5 preseason. Definitely top 10.

Probably be summer camp competition for the USC QB job between Mustain and Sanchez. No idea why Carroll would want to bring Mustain over as the kid is just horrible and a f'in crybaby.

I'm assuming the kid wouldn't come over to just sit as a backup though.

I'd go with Sanchez myself, but have a sneaking suspicion it will be otherwise.

Yeah I wasn't sure if Pat White and Slaton will be back or declare. Not sure about Slatons financial situation, but he could of had a bigger year and with some durability issues you would think he wants to comeback and showcase his real talent, hunger and heart. If White stays he sure as hell should and try to make another run. They could get some top 5 respect if so I would imagine.

Well what is WV going to do about the coaching position? This is going to factor into preseason ratings would it not???

If the powers that be look at last game played then yes... Michigan was a great team this year.. but not for every game..

Still think there will be plenty of favoritism as there is every year in pre-season ratings

It is already done. The interim coach from last night was already hired.
