The finalists (top 24) have not been named or picked yet. They have narrowed down to the top 50 through Hollywood week or "Hell Week" as they call it on the broadcast. The top 24 or "chair episode" will be taped at the end of this month.
The winner is determined by vote by the public. It is not predetermined and we won't know until the last show (around May I think).
I was asking what you thought were fair odds at this point for one person to win it. For all I know my info could be wrong and I may not know one person on the show.
I will be setting my opening odds, but am pretty sure they will be different than actual book odds. It's not like you can bet on my odds (although I would love to take 99.5% of this board's action).

now that I reread your post, I realize they have shown a few episodes and narrowed it down to 50? I didn't even know they started up the season.
I wouldn't be willing to lay huge odds, but I would think a blanket odd for any one contestant would be less than 50-1. Maybe 35-1? Kind of hard casue at 50, you know there are some that have no chance and some that are in good shape. A bad/weak singer might be 100-1, while the best sounding is most likely 10-1 right now.
I know the 2+2 peeps go nuts over this and from what I've heard dialidol is fairly accurate with predicting eliminations.
