HOUSTON OILERS vs BUFFALO BILLS JAN 3, 1993......
(I cant believe that was 15 years ago!)

Bills down 35-3 comeback to win 38-35 in OT......I gotta watch this again.

I still remember it like yesterday though.......I was a Sr. in HS watching this over a friends house and couldnt believe it.

It was however one year before I ever started gambling or placing bets. What was the line on this game? I'd have to guess Bills-3, although the Bills were pretty damn good back then, so they may have been a bigger favorite. I'm sure you veteran bettors have some good stories about this game........

So the line was really 3 or 3.5 Tony, huh?

At least no one lost on it then. Those people who took pushes had to be sick.

It was both. My friend had the Bills -3 and I got the Oilers +3 1/2 from someone else. He pushed, I won.

I had the Oilers +3 in that game and was counting my cash at halftime.Till this day I cannot believe that I pushed that game.I was only a week before that the Oilers beat them in Houston to make the playoffs I think.Warren Moon went off in that game to Haywood Jefferies and Lorenzo White had a couple of TD's.But won my money back when Dallas kicked their ass in the Super Bowl.

I knew Kelly was out, but I didnt realize they didnt have Thurman Thomas or Cornelius Bennett playing either. WOW.

I bet Harrington was up there jumping around in the stands.

I had Buffalo -3, a buddy of mine had Houston +3. He called me at halftime and laughed his ass off. As enjoyable second half of a game I've ever had.

A friend of mine worked in a Circuit City service center in Houston. A few days after the game they got in a big screen TV where the owner threw a remote control through the screen when Houston lost. :ohno:

I was at this game and almost left at halftime. My wife talked me into staying. I believe I had the over. A bunch of people we knew left and then they managed to get back in. All Houston had to do is run the ball and no way the Bills come back. I just spoke to Thurman a few weeks ago and we talked in length about those great Bills teams. Thurman had about 11 carries in the game I believe but then left because of injury.

My best friend and I are in the
2nd row of the endzone. When the winning FG goes in you can see you celebrating--kind of cool
Frank Reich was the man!!!
