Anybody ever have a clerk give you a WU name instead of MG ?

Pain in the BUTT. I had to go back to supermarket and cancel it.

I feel like an idiot doing it.

Excuse me, I just sent some some money to a Hispanic woman in ****, I meant to send that to Jesus Santiago-Hernandez (fake name) in ********** , can you fix that for me ?

Very uncomfortable situation.

Yes, and it is a royal pain...I had to call WU and make the change, wound up just redirecting to another book. WU CSR was all over me and transfered me to a supervisor, wanting to know why I was changing the name and what I was sending it for...supervisor though was fairly easy going about it and just kinda like "Oh, need to change the receiver..no problem".

This is the reason I like MG many times over WU..WalMart clerks tend to ask few questions, compared to check cashing stores and the like who handle WU.

Happened to me once. Missed 3 plays I wanted to make that went of the board in the interim. You know what the result was??? Wrong 0-3 saved myself a ton of money. Was pissed and then turned into relief.

The book gave me bad info, I know I said MG, not WU. They gave me an EPT #, never had that before, but didn't think much of it at the time. I have never used WU, didn't know EPT is for WU.

Book wouldn't play me back the tape, gave some excuses about being busy yada,yada,yada.

I didn't think anything of the receiver being in a different country than last time I sent money to this book, I don't know all the ins and outs of this fishy MG/WU Bullshit.

I didn't even want to make a deposit as I have enough at this book, but I won a contest that requires a deposit to claim the prize.

They weren't very apologetic about their error either !
