New Laptop, did I make a good purchase?

The thing is better than any desktop i had before, and with an HP docking station, its like i have 2 new computers..

Damn near impossible to find, all the stores are sold out of it, but i had them notify me by email when one came in and i drove 1 1/2 hours to get it...

I've been trying to buy a new one for 6 Months but I just dont have a Clue and everyone I ask seems to be the same. :drink:

This one seems awesome so far, i was reluctant to get Windows Vista, but with the right hardware, i.e. ram + processor, i see nothing but good things with it, except for the administrator BS thats built in..

the built in Wi-fi rocks too

buy these things direct from the company. dont fucking waste your time at circuit city or any other places.

buy direct you get a FREE 3 YEAR WARRENTY, NOT ONE WITH WITH OPTION TO BUY THE 2 EXTRA.

you donty save money buying at the convience store

ok so it takes 2 weeks to get for the extra free stuff.

These dual core processors are something else. Seriously fast!

Laptop for under a dime....pretty tough to go wrong.

Brock, I just bought the 6660SE. Only difference is that I have the AMD Turion 64x2 processor.

So far I love it. Very slick.

I bought my HP direct, the sales rep wanted to throw in his first born... If you can deal with a KiweeCheree, you can save alot. HAGGLE, HAGGLE, HAGGLE..

the warrenty , call support, and free techs sent to your house is worth more than the 50 bucks you save at staples

i got a good rebate and free printer, i'm good with that end of it

Point though, not about where i got it, is the system good to your guys tech specs?

Besides the fact Vista blows, it looks like a nice laptop.

I'm currently in the market for a new desktop with a huge monitor personally.

have the same one brock. had to send it back to hp after the interior wi-fi driver wouldnt accept downloads from hp or some shit. they told me that all hps with one or two certain wi-fi drivers have been having problems. hope yours doesnt fuk up on ya.

If i understand it, you can buy it direct from H/P? I also was looking at the same unit from Best Buy.

i THOUGHT Vista sucked, but after i have had a few months workin gon it on my folks newer desktop PC, and then this one which is super powerful, i have no real complaints except for the BS Administrator feature which makes installing/downloading a bit of a pain, but once you work that out, it seems to be the real deal...

Find the PC you want and price it around, then call HP and they will beat any price and probably ship it free+ tech support...haggle, haggle, haggle..
