Bet $220 to win $200

Or Bet a parlay with same side and both the over and under which pays 13 to 5

bet $110 on the side and both totals and it pays $286

So same $220 of wagers pays $286 if you are correct on the side.

what am I missing here? And why not always do this if you are betting a side?

home team -4 -110: $220/$200

If win: +$200
If lose: -$220

-OR-

home team -4 and over 44.5: $110/$286
home team -4 and under 44.5: $110/$286

If win: +$176
If lose: -$220

Take the favorite and the over.. lets use New England as an example..
NE -13 right now with a 47.5
your bet would be 100 parlay NE -13 over 47.5
what I think your saying is you're best bet is NE so you take NE and parlay with the over.. an additional parlay NE and the under.

Is this right?

You forgot to subtract the losing parlay.
