Anyone Down For A Mini Bash????

Was booking my wife and kids flights to Ca. and air fare is dirt cheap.

I can fly to Las Vegas for $89 each way.

And for you ski/snowbaord freaks Reno is $59 each way.

If you've never ski'd Lake Tahoe or even been to Tahoe you must before you die.

I really want to ski Tahoe myself,but I am easy.

Reno the hotels and food are way cheaper but yes you get what you pay for,as is a dump.

Inside the casino's all look the same though.

I'm the anti-skiier. Went once to say I did it. People on the lift were yelling down at me asking if I needed help as I just laid against a fence for a while.

East coast bashes are mainly centered around D.C. as most of the posters are here.

Understand. I'll stay at my friend's place in Summerlin and go down to the Wynn while he is working, or hang at Red Rock (closest to him).

Thats funny I have a friend that lives in Vegas and when I call him if he's not at home or work he's at the Red Rock.

Eating better and drinking in more moderation (at least most of the time). Still pretty lazy and not exercising as much as I should. But at least not going up in weight and fat.

Just went on the wagon myself. Dr. said many years ago "If I tell you to cut down on the booze you won't listen so PLEASE, once a year quit entirely for a month. Then maybe your liver will last as long as you do"
I have been doing that for 25+ years.

I assume you are referring to "Sonny" by old boss. I never worked for or with him other than I ran one of the departments and he ran another. Never had a problem with him, but really didn't interact with him much. Always seemed like a decent guy to me.

I'll be in town for a few days next week. Only costing me about $170 RT for a non-stop flight to LV. Bargain compared to how much I paid last March, and in previous years.

So you got a new place GD?

I guess there's more in the area than the 55+ communities of Summerlin. Was looking at a rental there for a month or two but decided to stay home this winter, except for a week in Vegas before Easter. It snowed today but its raining now...again!
