All things considered. I guess if you feel Las Vegas is the best choice than feel free to say it just hoping to hear some not so obvious answers.

Some things you would have to look at would be no goverment interference, local sports books, ability to move money freely, use and avaibility of all sportsbooks over the net from your end and their's, etc...

If you want throw in some reasons why. Just curious as to what people would say. Would Las Vegas still be most everyones top choice?

Definetely not the USA.

England is nice as you can use books such as Pinnacle, BetFair, and most importantly you are able to use Neteller.

Oh yeah, and not having to pay taxes on winnings is not something I would complain about.

I think I'd rather have UK options of Pinny,Betfair,Mansion,Neteller, and ability to use any book in the world, than some local in the states, even if they are big -time locals.

The only reasonable answer is a country that allows and accepts gambling as a normal activity.

Only real answers are England (UK) and Australia. Even Canada and CR don't equal these choices. CR citizens can't bet at CR books ( but some do, on credit), Canada could become like US at any time.

Ireland,
Not only do you get all the same benefits as the UK but you can make a fortune every year just laying Gaelic Games to the natives as they are so patriotic to their Counties price doesnt matter.

Best Place to Live and Bet Sports

Also, if leaving the states is not an option, where in the US is a moderate view towards betting. Some states are better than others with no one caring.:sad3:

The butlers' quarters at the Winbet mansion on the northeastern coast of Crete.

Where the beer pours long and the bs stacks deep, but the fun is to be had by all.

I've never been there, but I believe they have storefront betting offices all over the place, like equal to buying a lottery ticket in the US.

I'm not sure, but aren't Canadians now excluded from Neteller ? They have their gov't Proline sports betting, but odds suck. Some books ( Bodog) don't take Canadians. Canada is too subject to influence from US Gov't.

UK seems to be the place from what I've read of it.

For the US, how can Nevada not be the best place ?

If you do this from England, you'll be living vampire hours over there. The time zone will have you burning the midnight oil. Everything else about it seems ok.

The best place to do this in the states may be Hawaii because the time zone will make it pretty much a 9-to-5 gig. The west coast isn't bad either, with the west coast games going off at 7:30 PM, not 10:30 PM like it is in eastern.
