I placed my wager yday... Game is about to start in about 2 hours or so and the game is still circled and maximum I can bet is $250..... I checked their wager limit page and max should be $500 for soccer games.... anyone know when they will let me bet more than $250??? and I can't call them right now to ask them since I am at work and this is why I am posting here to see if anyone know the answer. Thanks in advance.

I called them about 15 minutes before the game start to ask why maximum bet allowed for soccer game is only $250 today.... she said game is circled and that's the reason why but she asked me to hold on since she was going to check to see if I can bet more. She came right back to tell me that I can't do it. So I went ahead and asked why is the game still circled??? she said she was going to plac me on hold again and did not come back.... I looked at the time and game already began..so to me, it looked like they just put me on hold and have me wait till game starts so I can not bet anymore money on that game... I always thought Betjamaica's customer service is pretty good but today, customer service was HORRIBLE!!!

I will say that they have been REAL gratious to me lately. I have transferred funds to around 7 posters here at therx through betjamaica over the past 3 days. Each time I would call, each transfer took around 40 seconds to complete. They didnt ask why I wanted to transfer, all they asked was for the account number and name of the account holder. That was it, it was real easy.
I hope that some of those guys won money!

I agree having you on hold to long was wrong, but as a gambler you should be keen to when a game starts and that was your fault. Not exactly horrible customer service; she was probably trying to ask a supervisor and the super was busy or somthing, atleast she was trying to help you. Also, why would they put you on hold to stop you from betting more on a game that they told you had a limit and was circled?
From the wording it does sound like he got a bet in; just wanted more, maybe he can clarify?

I agree with you guys that their customer service is excellent. It's just that the customer service rep should have came back to me and let me know she's trying her best(or something along the line)....and if she came back to me, I would have just told her nvm since game is about start now....
I'm not sure I understand why you consider this horrible customer service, she'd already told you that the game was circled and you couldn't bet any more on it, the inquiry as to why it was circled wouldn't seem to me to be of high importance, what does it matter if you find out why it was circled before the game starts or two weeks later? It would be a completely different matter if she kept you on hold while you were waiting to see if you could place a larger wager until after the game started, that would just seem rather shady to me.
I don't know if I understand correctly....If I misunderstood, it's my fault and I am sorry... When the game is circled, it usually means there is something going on an either teams.... and from my experience, when the game is circled, they usually remove it hour or two before game starts so customer can make their larger wager. However, today, Betjamaica circled all of their soccer games and I wanted to find out why all the games were circled even though their wager limit page clearly states that customer can bet up to $500 per game...
If it affects other games, I can see that you would want to know the reason right away, but my point is that on the game in question, you had bet the $250 max and inquired if you could bet more and were told you could not. At that point, you can't really expect anything to change as far as that game is concerned, yes you are used to them removing the circle a couple hours prior to game time, but for whatever reason they didn't remove it nor were they planning on removing it (If they were planning on removing it, I would certainly hope the CS response to be that you just had to wait until closer to game time when they would remove it, so them telling you that you can't bet more finalizes it in my mind).
Still not sure if I got my point across, since I tend to confuse more often than not when I try to explain things, but basically I wouldn't expect you finding out why the game is circled to change the fact that for whatever reason they're limiting the maximum bet on that game.
