there might be a conflict with SBR !

Might not be a conflict at all. Nothing wrong with 2 bashes the same weekend.

Roberto gave free airfare AND rooms for his bash in Miami 2 years ago. And he didnt stop the free at $250, He paid $450 for my airfare and alot more than that for Andrew and the other guys from England

That was a good party, I was there. I'm not sure if SBR John is serious or not about this, but I think the time choice is poor as many would be split as to which to attend, maybe its on purpose ?

I don't visit SBR but how can they afford to give out free airfare?

Rooms is negotiable especially in a city like vegas....but airfare sounds crazy....and 1,000 posts? I'd expect another 0 there

I really enjoyed the fact that the Bash was in September, being able to watch meaningful football games was alot of fun.

Roberto managed to do it, so it is not without precedent. I have the 1k posts, he might have to limit it somehow, as Roberto did.

How did Lazer give away $250 to dozens of people every week, kind of similar ?

If they make it 10k posts, Mo and Gyno will be the only ones there !

I have to go to a wedding the second week of september (i think)....a bash during that time would be perfect.....not sure if I can get permission to space vegas trips within one month of each other....lol

yeah, maybe posts counts are much diff there as is the traffic....

...the sad thing is if people try to post nonsense just to reach a certain # of posts....at least ppl like me post nonsense w/ no goal in mind! lol....

.....if therx ever did this...they should cut it off at 4,400 posts...anything over (4,401+) gets full comps all-around!

The RX did a excellent job last year. Picking Planet Hollywood was a great choice. Yes September worked out nice having NFL games going.

Did I meet at the Miami bash Doug? I cant remember, maybe your name was different at TOW.

But Roberto paid ALOT more than $250 a person to fly to Miami, so there is a precedent set. And the hotel was one of the best that I have ever stayed in. Senator John Kerry was staying at that hotel at the same time and crashed the party

I don't recall meeting you, but probably did at some point, I'm Doug at TOW. The hotel was nice, but I would have preferred it to be on the beach.

Forced posts aren't good, EOG went through that with a recent contest.

Just imagine if he made that thread JUST TO GET people to join and post more, and will then later cancel the bash.

I doubt that he would do that though

Would be cool if theRX had it the week before or week after.

Might stay a week or so in Vegas and go to both bashes.
