Why does anyone bet on credit?

Not talking about postups with credit cards; although thats just as bad.

Im talking about people opening up credit accounts?

I may be ignorant on this, but the only reason I can think of is people betting with money they dont have or cant afford to lose.

Unless you are a local hedging against your clients with better numbers.

Credit is a way of life for professional gamblers. If your "word" is no good, you have nothing.

that was the way of gambling for a 100 yrs and worked very well as it still does today.
why keep large sums of money in an account in a 3rd world country that could close shop tomorrow and their isn't shit you can do about it?

Credit is the best thing in the world for good gamblers. ANd the worst thing for lousy gamblers.

It would be good for season long bets, but I don't use credit.

It would be great for this election stuff.

I have been using a credit shop and been very happy with it. I was always worried about offshore books where I sent my money... as several have had issues.

With the credit book if I get screwed, its just my winnings.

Will Have To Write Off Some Bad Debts. Also Most Credit
Players Come Through Agents Who Know Their Players Lifestyle Well Enough To Hopefully Avoid Catastrope.

Big Players Like Credit Because Their Is No Paper Trail. Successful People With Businesses Deal In Credit Every Day
And They See No Reason To Change Their Ways For Gambling
Purposes. For Them It's An Insult To Ask For Money Upfront

You're Less Affluent Players Also Like No Paper Trail. And, Yes,
They Are In Danger Of Getting In Over Their Heads.
But You Start Them Off With Low Limits, And As They Pay And Pay, Their Credit Can Grow.

No fees?? Bruno charges 30% to collect from the deadbeats. But then again he brings a finger back so I guess that is worth something.

We probably lose our share, but that is part of the industry...the trick is finding good agents...tons of shot takers out there nowadays...
