while the kid is phenominal, they are taking a huge risk by signing him for this kind of money over 13 years. he has the potential to be the next great one, but he is not there yet. What if he gets a career ending injury 3 years into this contract? i suppose insurance would kick in

in other news the Salary cap in the NHL has gone from 39 million per team, to 51 million per team, this despite the fact that THE NHL IS DEAD!!!!!
