As you know, I have been doing a couple of Movie Reviews the last few weeks...on the RX
I would have done this one too....But was SOOOO Pissed at the End !

This movie " Could " have been a Great Movie...IF they had a ENDING

I saw this movie Online, BEFORE it came out ...and you know that sometimes when you watch these online..anything can happen
So at First...I thought they had some missing pieces, that they Messed up online.....BUT NOOOOOOOO, they just took a Good Movie in the making
and Fuked it up at the End !

Now, YOU tell me...did he Kill the Wife ??? If he did, What did he use ? to kill her ??

Is the Husband Really Dead ?? What the FUK happened ?? last time I saw him alive...the girl at the Pool was flirting with him !

well he checked the bottom of his shoes, so, yes he killed her, and the husband was lying dead on the floor in the hotel..

I loved the first hour and 30 minutes. Then when we get the off-screen shocker, everything went downhill. The actor who played Chigar was great though, and he carried the film with Brolin. I felt like Tommy Lee was just riding the bandwagon and his scenes were very mediocre.

Again, maybe it was the book's fault, but this movie was 30 minutes short of being considered a classic.

Woody Harrelson's character could've been used better also.

Took the words out of my mouth,

But comeon why didnt they show a final showdown of some sorts, kind of made Brolins character into a loser for not backing up his tough words to Bardens character when they spoke on the phone

Was set up to be a pretty solid movie, but was sooooo pissed off with the ending

Yeah, but you Only saw " A " Body......not his face.....
Also, when the wife went to the Cemetery for her Mom...How come they didn't show her going to his ???

I loved the movie, and the ending just followed the book ending. Everything that comes out of hollywood doesn't need the hero riding off into the sunset or a giant explosion in the end...

By far the best movie I saw in 2007 and I see a bunch. The conversation in the scenes with the killer and victims just before execution are a classic.

It was great movie and the ending was perfect considering the overall tone of the film.

And why would it be necessary for you to see Chigurh killing Moss' wife. The scene ended perfectly with what she said to him. Based on everything he did up to that point, did you really expect that he let her go? Uh, not likely. And he did check his shoes which gave that away that he killed her.

If you want to satisfy your thirst for bloodlust, go see AVP.

...You can't stop whats coming...

Great Movie.
Of course he killed the wife. The only person he did't kill was the gas station attendant who guessed heads with the coin toss. Other than that he killed pretty much everyone he came into contact with. He did'nt kill Brolin though. The Mexican drug gang did.

fucking stupid movie....great scenes and good acting, but a terrible fucking story line

a bunch of scenes that had no impact on the movie, a bunch of pointless characters, they killed the main character without showing or explaining, and it was too long and got boring at points, specifically the last scene when it ends.....have talked to multiple people who were zoned out during that scene and missed the ending because they were bored.......thats the sign of a bad movie.

I think the people who are calling it great are going off the producers big names and they want to act like they "get it"

Yea, why even bother putting him in the movie? It was just one of many confusing/pointless things for you to think about while the movie was ending without you knowing it.

This is the same excuse a lot of people use when they don't like a highly praised movie.

I even heard Britney Spears say something similar once. So maybe you and Britney should hang out and go see "27 Dresses" this weekend.

Haven't seen it yet, but pretty much love everything the Coen Brothers make. Some of their stuff is out there, but always interesting.

Let me guess...you thought I Am Legend was a great movie.

:smoker2:

ANy you mention Woody's character. He was in the movie for as many scenes as he was in the book. I don't think the Cohen bros wanted to re-write a Cormack McCarthy story. They followed the book pretty much to a T.
