Marty is a great coach. Marty essentially beat the Pats last year. And how can you say Norv has already had a better season than Marty because he won a playoff game? They got a BYE last year, but not this year. You're supposed to beat the 6 seed when you're the 3 seed. WTF kind of argument is that?
I am a Schotty fan...But the loss in '05 to the Jets when he had a superior team was inexcusable. Led to the problems that he had w/Smith...because of the way Schotty coached that game and played for a FG...was sick...
Schotty also was the primary culprit in the Bolts releasing Rodney Harrison...he had input with John Butler...and convinced the late Butler that Rodney could no longer play...
To think that Harrison was signed by the Broncos...and at the last minute changed his mind after Belichick called him...Schotty caused alot of damage with that asinine and moronic evaluation of Harrison...
Schotty is a HOF-NFL-HC...but for whatever reason...his teams do not have success in the playoffs...so irregardless of what seed or what round...Turner beating TEN last week was a huge mountain that he got 'em over...that Marty simply could not do for 'em.
