than San Diego. Not to mention all the injuries on the chargers. Manning can be hard to defend and always make it a tough game. YOu have to score and score and score to beat the Pats. San Diego's QB's are not at that level. We will see. Congrats to the Chargers!

These team beat the fuck out of each other.SD has to travel back to SD then fly back east and into the freezer.
They haven't played a cold game in decades.

Belichick toys with avg QB's. You need a great QB to beat the Pats. Plus the injuries too.

Calm down Pat. The Chargers beat Indy, the Pats didn't.

If you weren't so worried about Manning beating the Pats for the fourth straight time you wouldn't be celebrating in such a ridiculous manner.

RIght, the Pats defense is not great at this point but the offense is. The point is you have to score big to beat the Pats and not sure an avg QB can do this.

If Pats fans fear the Colts cause Peyton is a great QB, why do I see thread after thread this afternoon about how overrated he is?

Packers..

problem is, everything is happening to the benefit of GB winning it all

Unless the G-Men pull the upset today I don't see the Packers faring to well in Dallas next week...Now if they get a home game next Sunday against New York then Packer fans can make reservations for Arizona in February..They are still meat though against New England if not Dallas.

wil..

chargers reminding me of the Colts of last year. Team that was suppose to be dominate last year but fell flat on their face, only to rebound with a superbowl the next year. Not saying SD will beat New England.

Not sure what you are looking at. Manning might not be as good as Brady. I think the comparison is one thing...saying he is overrated is another. I, personally have all the respect in the world for Manning ,but he has failed many times in the postseason and got lucky last year playing mediocre in a game or two and still winning and failing big times in he playoffs in other years. So you can make a case against him if you want. Regardless, he is still one of the very best. I fear him and I know the Patriots respect him too. It is so much easier to defend a team that is not QB'd by Payton Manning. Also thru the years when the pats have had trouble is is against teams with great QB's. Indy qualifies and the Chargers do not.

What a great relief for the Pats to know they can make their plans for Glendale. They must be resting easy tonight knowing that the beat up San Diego team is coming in and they already rolled them earlier in the season.

Belicheat can scheme for the Packers/Giants winner and spend extra time getting ready for the Bowl.

What a break for the Patriots. They must be considering themselves lucky not to have to face the mighty Colts.
