At the beginning of every meeting someone reads the daily prayer. I can't remember what it is called.
At the end of every meeting you hold hands and say the serenity prayer.
God grants me the serenity to accept the things I can not change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
The meetings are ok but you get alot of gamblers who live in shelters who go to these meetings. You also get the depressed overweight women who spent their life savings playing keno.
I try and go atleast once a month. I use to have a really bad video poker problem. Haven't played one in over 5 years. :toast:
