Thinking about CompSci 125, Math 147, Math 170, Math 187, Chemistry 111, Physics 211, and Military Style Fitness. It knocks out a considerable chunk of my Comp Sci major but the course catalog kinda warns against taking too many of these suckers at once. PS, my non-major stuff is about all wrapped up as far as electives go. I only have one more English class I need.

Anyway, anyone ever load up before? How did it go?

That much math is insane, especially when you are taking Physics and Chemistry. That is one hell of a workload. You will not be able to handle that IMO

I was kinda worried about that but at the same time, I don't really need any easy classes at this point and don't work more than 10 hours a week or so (unless you count posting about fantasy football here, which I can do from my laptop during class haha). I've always had a really easy time with Math and the CompSci class, I pretty much know that stuff already. For what it's worth, I took two higher math classes as a freshman but that was a while ago so I may be rusty, who knows. Physics and Chemistry is scaring me alot more than math. Maybe I'll knock off Physics and save it for next semester.

That would have been too much for me for the entire four years.

Haha. Alright well you guys have pretty much convinced me to save Physics for another semester. I don't really need Math 147 now that I think about it but I never took it and it is supposed to help with 170 and 187. Like I said though, I've took junior-level math classes my freshman year and got good grades so I might not need the refresher 147 course either.

many schools would not even let you take that many classes at one time. You do know you are expected to double class time with study time for each hour of those math and Science classes. That is easily 35-40 hours/week study time

Only you can answer this question. How the fuck should anyone else know how much work you can handle in one semester, let alone strangers?

Cause people on this board have been in this situation before. I have not. Therefore, they'd probably know better due to experience. :ohno:

Geez In the good ol'days you took 15 credit hours (5 classes @ 3 cr per course) times 8 semesters and at 120 credit hours (assuming you passed) you were done. Man do I miss my alma matta (Boston State College) not to be confused with Boston College ---not that anyone would

Anyone have any ideas for fun classes? I just realized 147 was PreCal anyway and since I've taken Calculus already I don't need it. So dropping Math 147 and Physics 211.

That leaves me with...

Math 170
Math 187
CompSci 125
Chemistry 111
Military Style Fitness

Anyway, any suggestions for another credit or two in a dickoff class? Just something to help the ole GPA... I took Archery once and that was fun. Looking for something similar if anyone has any ideas.

that semester may be classified as "suicide watch." I took chem, bio, math, and a writing course in a semester and it was the worst of my 4 years there.

Billiards would be awesome but I can't find it in the course catalog so I don't think it's offered.
