will you say the same thing when NE gets the same calls?<!-- / message -->
Absolutley. I hate games where all you talk about after the game is refs calls.
The game Sat. nite was a great example.Pats had more penalties on them and deserved every one of them. But they beat Jacks without the benefit of any calls.

The ref that threw that flag on that interception return for a TD should be in serious trouble. How they can let that go is beyond me. Can anyone say Ben Dreith?

Did you see jerry Austins face? He didn't even want to announce the penalty. Not only did it take points off the board but it was at the end of the half.SD couldn't even go offense.
The PI late in the game was just horrendous too.

Was definitely a hold on that return... If you TIVO'd it, I'd advice checking it out again.

I will tell you that is one terrible call. Someone needs to do something about that. It is REAL SIMPLE. WHen it is crunch time if you throw the flag make sure there is a game influencing penalty or at least a legitimate penalty. When in doubt do not throw one. Otherwise you can decide the game and THE SEASON with a terrible call. San Diego is going in for a game changing TD and the ref decides to ruin the play with a bogus call. I get sick thinking about it.

I only saw the initial play. I would have to see it again but I did not think that defender was making the tackle. No way. THey can always call holding. That was not that bad. But Like I said, I only saw it once. There were other calls too that were OFF.

These days it's sad to say but you have to put the NFL marketing interest into your handicapping.

When Seahawks got robbed in SB I was banging my head against the wall thinking why didn;t I think to take minus a poultry 3 points and never thinking they want the bigger market/Jerome Bettis to win this game.

Sell more gear during off season and so forth.

Even early on in Packers game they re-spoted that ball for a first down when it looked like Hawks might be making a game of it.

So between Giants and Pack I'm thinking that will be a well officiated game as Eli or Brent the league could care less both a good story.

But if Patriots struggle look out for the calls.

Say it time and time again...the NFL needs to hire full time refs and not car salesmen and insurance brokers...you get what you pay for...

It's all much, much bigger than any of you realize. Super Bowl 38 was payback to Bill Cowher for years of "loyal service". Super Bowl 39 was similar payback to Tony Dungy.

This sport is as phony as 3 card Monte game at the state fair.

If all these games are fixed, shouldn't we have noticed a pattern and become millionaires by now. Come on now....you see much worse shit in other sports.

I was pulling hard for Indy, and was still yelling at the tv. The NFL is getting ridiculous with the phantom calls.

Yes, I agree! I remember the Steelers vs Colts game! Too many bad calls!
