The Boston Celtics host the Portland Trailblazers for what has to be a key game for two of the hottest teams in the NBA.

Boston comes into this game winning 17 of their last 21 games (dec. 13-1, jan 4-3)

Portland has also been on a nice run winning 18 of their last 21 games (dec. 13-2, jan. 5-1)

Aside from a loss at San Antonio, this will be the toughest competition for Portland in over 21 games. While Boston has beat and lost to Detroit in their last 21 games.

While Boston and Portland have both played extremely well lately, the strength of opponents have been less than stellar for each team.

This game will provide Boston and Portland a chance to show how they deal with a quality opponent.

Should be a good one to watch in the dog days of January.

I figured this line to be around 7. It is now 9. Hard to lay points with a Boston team that has been cooling off lately. Half of Boston's
losses have come in the last 4 games.

The total is 180.5 at Pinny. Boston has gone under the last 5 games. I am thinking of teasing Portland with the over.
The thing that scares me is Boston record days rest ATS.

Boston ATS 1 days rest 11-5-0
Portland 9-7-0
