OT - Anyone know their World Geography..

I got this by email from Scotty at BetJamiaca..

World Geography IQ..

Starts easy but gets harder, speed counts, I think I went to fast though.

I made it to level 11 with 360,831 points for a World Geography IQ of 110. I had 7 minutes left on the clock though, I think I could have went slower and maybe made it to the final level 12..Although I was a whopping 17,000 points short.

Give it a try if you know your geography.

That means you are pretty sharp at geography. I just took it again and got a little better to 111 IQ with 372,416 points but I didn't make it to level 12 again..Levels 10 and 11 are very difficult..

The average man on the street cannot find places like Paris France or Rome Italy on a naked map if you gave them all day. Never mind Bakmako, Mali which was one of the questions I just had.

The map is pretty small so it is difficult to pinpoint some of those tiny countries in Southeast Asia and Central Europe. I happen to know Vietnam and that part of the world from personal experience, same with Western Europe as I was stationed in Germany for a while in the very late 60s and most of 1970. Moldovia fooled me, as did Suriname, missed them by over 1000 KMs.

My last try - speed really matters.

436,817 - level 11 - Travelers IQ 118.

Can't get over the hump to level 12.

The game said "Level 11 - Who would of thought it possible" so level 11 must be no cinch.

I have always been a geography buff since grammer school.

I think it's really sad how many Americans....an maybe others in other countries....can't even identify where they live on a globe.

Don't they teach this subject in school any longer?

I believe they just teach to you how to take a standerized test nowadays.
