Like the guy as a coach, not the best person but seems those that are his close friends would take a bullet for him. One game with equal talent and i'd take him over anyone you care to name.

IF HE HAD THE PLAYERS THAT NC, DUKE, KANSAS AND OTHERS HAVE HE WOULD BE IN THE FINAL FOUR EVERY YEAR. HE WINS WITH AVG TALENT. EXCEPT MAYBE FOR WOODEN KNIGHT IS THE GREATEST COACH EVER!!!

I used to have the utmost respect for coach Knight when he was at Indiana. I actually played golf with him in 1989 and he was very entertaining and bigger than life. However, since he has coached in the Big 12 I have been up close and personal to his condescending behavior and have come to the conclusion that he is a bully and a pompous ass.

VIEJO, it was a scramble and he was a decent player(10 handicap) on an extremely hard golf course.

I appreciate how he lays into many media personalities. Nothing like a Knight interview when he wants to be a pain in the ass.

Yup ... one of the reasons that I love Belichick and Knight is because they are assholes with the media.

ESPN put him as the 2nd most with wins. They had the nerve to put Pat Summit on top of the list. I was shocked to compare those 2 as being on equal terms is just stupid.

Summit may have more wins but womens hoops is always the same teams that win year after year.
