Going to the Fight Saturday night....Felix Trinidad vs. Roy Jones Jr ???

Ok, a Friend of mine got Tickets to the Felix Trinidad vs. Roy Jones Jr fight on Sat.

Since this is my first Fight that I'm going to in about 20 years, would like to make a Wager...to make it a little more Interesting...

I know Both Fighters are ( were ) Great Champs and all...and Always thought Roy Jones was the Best of Best....But ??? What is a Good Bet here ???

Anyone see an Edge ?? Hate that Don King has something do with this...But Someone has to Win ?? Right ??

If you get an extra ticket let me know. Last fight I went to was Tyson/Stewart in Atlantic City. My friend and I sneaked into the press conference after the fight and as Stewart was leaving the conference, Tommy Morrison was there (for some reason) trying to move people out of the way. He ended up shoving me to the ground, but then stopped, apologized and helped me up.

Jones by decision @ +205 looks pretty good. Tito has no shot - he's too small and he'll be fat and slow @ 170. Jones will also have a significant edge in hand speed.

A stoppage is quite possible, but the value is on the decision IMO.

Bet each fighter to win by decision...

5Dimes you can get Jones +240 and Tito +640....

Also throw a couple of dollars on the draw as both fighters are HBO guys and they may be out for more than one paycheck. 30-1 is way overpriced with two home fighters.

I don't do much Post up, only at Bookmaker because of a Contest here at the RX.....so I guess I will check out what they have...

My place has Jones +230 and Trinadad +590 for Decision play
Draw is +2000

Tito just weighed in OVER the limit at 170.2 pounds! They had to mess with the scale so it would show 170 even. :missingte

Roy wins with ease.

Well , just got back from the Fight tonight !! It was a really good fight !

Better then I thought..because I had Bet what some of you said

By the time I made the Bet, Jones was +200 on the Decision Play
So I made $1k on that.....

Boy...I Really didn't know that there were going to be so many Trinidad Fans there tonight.... He still has a Big Fan Base....

But Jones was just playing around early, which I thought my bet was in trouble.... But I remember that Jones is like that.

Then Jones went to work, knocking down Tito in the 7th and then again in the 10th....Of Course I didn't Want a KO...Because I didn't have a Bet on that !! LOL

But All in All...Had a Great Time....
