Who the hell organized this shit? half of their games aren't even televised, and then when one is, like Tonight's Arizona at Stanford game, its on EVERY FSN/Comcast channel in existence. Meanwhile SZ St vs Cal, a game of equal or better importance, is left OFF the Tv entirely. This is a conference in desperate need of a better TV package or different scheduling..

To answer your question....no one organized it because it's not organized! When in doubt, follow the money. The Pac-12 gets money from Fox to own exclusive broadcasting rights to Pac-12 games. Obviously it's easier and less expensive for Fox to only televise one game so fuck the fans.
The Pac-12 fans have it better than the Mountain West fans though...we sold our broadcasting rights to the College Sports TV (CSTV) network, but unfortunately the CSTV is only on premium cable so most of us fans can't watch any MW games!

Verses shows most of the Mountain West games from the MTN feed.

If Most means at least 50 percent or more, then no... not even close...

In fact, are you sure about this statement... I have not witnessed a single simulcast of a MWC game on themtn and Versus

As for P-10 coverage, it is very bad... sometimes where I am at, we get the L.A. Kings game instead of hoop bc our cable system only carries FSN West and not PT, which gets the game when Kings play.

I used to be DTV and cable, but my place doesn't face the right direction. At least, all Oregon Sports Network games are on Full Court.

BTW, channelsurfing.net is pretty awesome to see a lot of games from conferences like the Big West, Colonial, A10, Missouri Valley and the like. It's usually a one-camera feed with a radio broadcast.

Doug,
Most of the MWC games are on the Mountain channel, not CSTV. If you have cable, CSTV is 333 and MTN is 334. Unfortunately, they do skip a few games so oddly some Rebel games are on and some aren't. Don't know how they pick and choose which ones.
CSTV tends to show lots of C-USA games, which I'm guessing is because most of the other conferences have tie-ins to other networks and they do not.
The Mountain network is garbage too. I'll see BYU is playing Wyoming at 6 and it's the only MWC conference game on at that time. I'll turn it on and it's either a repeat game, a documentary on Utah women's volleyball, or some god-awful coach's show. What would be the point of having your own network if you aren't going to show all your games?

agree with you on the ASU Cal game last night, but the Pac 10 usually broadcasts 7 out of 9 or even 8 or 9 out of 9 conference games each week. Sometimes you get short changed on the Thursday games likw WSU and ASU last night.

On Saturdays, they usually have them spaced 2 hours apart.

Pac-10 commish is a total dipshit. The love fest with FSN is sickening and is killing the conference.

Thankfully, Arizona St/Stanford is on FSN tonight...AZ St is +8 too in a game they could very well win outright, Stanford is REALLY over rated, as well as that big dork set of Lopez brothers.

Correct GD,
The Mountain West conference made a deal with CSTV and at least they gave us our own premium cable channel. My point was that they are both "Premium" cable channels so many of us MW fans can't see the games. We were much better off before the MW conference made their deal with CSTV, because we were very often on ESPN then.
ps. I think you know the answer to your final question....$$$$$$

Agree completely. Back when Rebs were in Big West, you could count on the Big Monday game and ESPN would salivate to show anything at the 9pm (midnight est) slot.
Nowadays, they simply show Sportscenter 11 times in a row.
