Got a bedroom and hallway thats electric keeps going out. This has never happened to me before.

I hit the breaker box but it doesnt come back on. Magically in a day or whatever it will pop back on.

Anyone have any ideas what would make just a certain area of a house go out.

Thanks

You're in Florida so fruit rats are a possibility but there is seriously a shitload of things it could be.

Contractor could tell you real fast whta the problem is for little to no monies.

believe me i am the most inept f'er when it comes to this stuff...and i was scared shitless doing it...the only thing you have to do is shut down the main power...where all power to house is off..take a screwdriver take out old breaker, hook new one up and screw back in..takes about 5 minutes...make sure you replace right one..

the guy wanted 125 bucks to replace mine, when dryer went out...i went to lowes (took old breaker with me) they showed me what i needed came back home and installed, saved over 100 bucks and time waiting for the repairman

This is all due to the fact I tried to get more shower head pressure.

Damn you Skins.

Actually for tonight Im just gonna ghetto it and run a long orange extenstion cord through my house to hook up the room.

Its probably not a breaker. more likely you have a wire loose inside a receptacle or light switch.
Have someone go and lightly shake the breaker while you look at the light. if theres a short it will blink while they are wiggling it.

If its a short in a recpt your really better off letting a electrician come fix it...not a jack leg but a real electrician. It will take maybe 3 mins to fix but the problem is it make 3 hrs to find! Youll just have to ck every recpt, light and switch on the circuit where he can probably narrow it down to 2 or 3 and find the prob

1 other thing...if your house was built in the early 70's and has aluminum wire running to all the recpt's i would go ahead and but my drugs, porn and guns in the car ..its a bitch when the neighbors find that shit while they are helping you sift through the ashes.....

buster here is the damn honest truth.

I still have the extension cord running in there with the power cord. Its a spare room and just the stationary computer is in there.

So I havent even attempted a fix it.

I will though when I want to die.
