Me and two friends went to see it. Myself and one friend really liked it, the other friend hated it. We all felt woozy for about 30 mins after the movie though because of the camera work.

There were a lot of things I liked and some things I didn't. Wish they woulda ended the movie about 5 minutes sooner and not caved to the sappy love scene and the monster money shot.

Cloverfield is Blair Witch Project all over again. 6 people in the front row clapped, I think they are part of the marketing hype and are paid to clap. About 10 people yelled out they want their money back, and the majority said, "THAT'S IT?!??"

damn $15 for a movie ticket? wtf

Like I said, the movie was decent... some people fucking busted their load over this shit... I dont understand why...

a piece of re-bar goes through that hot bitches chest... puncturing her heart, lung, and whatver else... gets up jumps from one building to another and runs down 57 flights of stairs? then runs around everywhere else?

come on...

the fact that shes alive is way bogus

Got to see this Late Last Night.....Total Waste of 70 Mins...

But Thank God it was Only a 70 Min Movie...

The Reason I didn't like it is Because I am So Over seeing The Blair Witch Project...Type of Movie.....
And When they Tried Blair Witch #2 It Failed.....This one Will as well Come This Week.....

I was not a fan. I agree with Betallsports that I am just done with this style of movie. The scene where they rescued the girl in the broken building was completely ridiculous.

Every person who claims to be a movie-buff is busting a nut over this movie it seems. The fact that a lot of people seem to be hating on it only makes it more "trendy" for them.

Did you guys know there is a sequel in the works though? One that will show the aftermath, where the monster came from, what the hell happened to people after they were bit, etc. If it's done well, could be worth watching because it will almost certainly be shot without the home video style.
