Trying to plan something this year. Was thinking World Series but many options...... Super Bowl, Final Four, UFC, College Football....etc...

Chime in....

Thanks gang!

Wilheim...I already know you'd pick World Series..good value too, more than one game you can attend.

UFC is a lot of fun. I went to the one in Cincy back in October. There are 3 or 4 fights not shown on TV that are just for the live crowd and if you hang out after the show you can meet the fighters. I met Matt Hamill and Wanderleigh Silva. The tickets are fairly cheap compared to final four, Super Bowl, etc.

Just my 2 cents

Thats what I heard about the Super Bowl too...

I went to De laH oya vs Vargas in Vegas...those tix were 600$ a piece, but that whole week was a party...well worth the money.

I'm a Vanderbilt football season ticket holder the only thing bigger than the Cubs making the World Series would be Vandy playing in the BCs title game.

kentucky derby, better than mardi gras!!!
are you serious? LOL

That event is the one event which may be the biggest waste of time in the world, an hour between races, the races themselves are over fast, total ametuer hour in the infield, an out and out bad time. Watch on TV.

Mardi Gras, not the day otself, but the 2 weeks leading up to it can't be beat

it use to be a great cheap event and a must see back in the day. Churchill Downs Inc. fvcked it up good. Total waste of time and money. $300 Per night hotel rooms at the RED ROOF INN, $8 BUDS, $4 hot dogs and you can't turn around without elbowing someone.

Oh and make sure you get in line 40 minutes before post, you just might get a bet in. Good luck even catching a glimpse of the track unless you want to pay $300 plus for a seat. But whats wrong with being cramed next to the mens room door to watch the big race on a 12 inch RCA

everything your saying goes hand in hand with any major sporting event. theres gonna be a lot of people and theres gonna be high ticket, food and drink prices. maybe wrestlemania would better suit you guys.

Nice try Kid

I went to 14 straight Derby's my first being 1982 I actualy only missed two up until 2004. Like I said it use to be a great event now it is absolute shit and a waste of time. Fvck you can't even get a drink after the races because Churchill downs INC bought up all the land and built a giant parking lot. Never been to a wrestle mania but I'm sure I would still put the Derby in front of that
