I'm an owner in a place with about 60 units, 12 buildings ( I think). Everybody is old ( I'm the youngster at 44), but average is more like 70.
They manage it themselves, but poorly. Short of becoming a board member, don't really want to do that, what can I do ?
They paint these buildings like 3 every 4 years, it looks like shit in 2 years... production painting philosophy. I'll try to add some photos later.
It needs vynel (sp) siding,IMO !
My unit looks awful from the outside, built roughly 1989, near the ocean (2 miles at most away).
Its like if I wanted to sell it, I'd have to sell it within a year of the exterior painting, because the paint will go to shit immediately.
