This has to be the worst team in the SB since the Chargers - calling them average is a compliment - Eli Manning?

Yeah because over the hill Favre or shitty ass Romo would have been so much better.

Eli has played some great football, give credit where it is due. You dont beat 3 teams on the road in the playoffs by being a shitty QB.

Dilfer picked up a ring, so whats your point?

The NFC is definitely not a powerhouse but you have to give them some credit don't you? They went on the road and won three games in a row. That being said, I'm not too excited about the game......yaaawwn!

I don't see how you can say that. They beat everyone they had to and had the best sack team in the league. What are you going to say when they beat the Pats?

The Bucs had the best pass defense I can recall - I can't stand when these shit teams end up the finals - I'm actually glad the Pats are around - they'd never lose to an average team - I'm quite confident the Pats win with ease - the Giants remind me of the Cavs or Nets

Why are The Giants in the Super Bowl.

Go back to Saturday night December 29th. and take a look at the game played at The Meadwolands that night that supplied the impetus for the Giants to gain the confidence they needed to become a team to be recconed with in the playoffs.

Remember The Giants were already in the playoffs with a 5 seed locked up but didn't pull a Colts rollover (vs Titans the next day), instead they played real football.

Sure they lost but Eli played very well and threw for 4 Tds in a 38-35 Pats win. That game IMO gave the Giants the boost they needed to go into first Tampa, then Dallas and finally Green bay and come away winners all three times.

However, I know there are going to be Giant fans like Stuckinvegas who will predict a Giants win but they really do face a tall order when it comes to beating a team that will be playing it's 4th Super Bowl in 7 years and is 18-0 on the season.

Hats off to The Giants for pulling of what The Steelers did two years ago and making it to the Super Bowl as a Wild Card - to bad (for them) they are not playing The Seattle Seahawks on Feb. 3rd though...

what is different about this team from the steelers a few years back? not a whole lot.

giants were much better than their record this year anyways. they were better than most wild card teams.

if a team like tampa or tennessee got into the super bowl, THEN we could talk about 'worst team since ....' or whatever. those teams were brutal.

but the giants are a pretty damn good football team.

any NFC east team is battle tested PERIOD. NEVER EVER AN EASY DIVISION GAME!!!!!!!!!!! 6 rivaly games.

ANY random AFC east team is another question.
