Just got an email from Citi Bank saying I have to do something about my credit card. I didnt know I had one

But I decided to have some fun.

The website they redirect me to is located about 100 miles south of Teheran, Iran.

Woohooo....

What an odd location for Citi Bank to have their offices, anyway, I wrote to them and Im waiting for an answer, if this turns out to be fun, I'll be posting the emails here

100 miles South of Tehran? I think that's where Goldman and UBS have they're headquarters - banking capital of the world.

Most scammers attach a code (or a 1x1 white graphic embedded in the email) to the link so that even if you just click and then don't fill it out - they know that your email clicked it. They now have an email address thats worthy of adding to the latest spam directory as being "active".

Didnt click on the link, simply placed my mouse over the adress to get the real target website, its an ip adress
