Looks Like The Buick Open May Not Play!

Started raining here in San Diego and it's expected to get heavier tonight with rain expected 6 out of next 7 days. Isn't that what happened about 2 years ago?

On a side note, one of the bigger name caddies got killed when he stepped off a curb in Del Mar and got hit by a car. Got the news from my GF since I just got home, and haven't heard who it was. I'll post it when I find out.

Sorry it's the Buick Invitational not Open. They stopped making Oldsmobliles not Buicks. Their Lucerne is the nicest car I've ever driven.

Steve Duplantis was the caddy and Rich Beem was who he caddied for! Had a 12 year old daughter. Such a shame!

That is really a sad story....

...not to mention I feel like a jerk....when I read that my two thoughts were:

-does this add value to rich beem (do for steve)

-does this add value against rich beem (cannot concentrate)

I will not wager on this as I feel bad for my initial thoughts

He caddied for Eric Axley. He hasn't caddied for Beem in a while.

He was a degenerate like most of us here.

Duplantis was a good guy. Was never afraid to have a good time. We took it deep on more than one occasion. Played many a round of golf with him and he got me access to a number of events. He was a guy that would do anything for a friend.

Caddied for a number of Guys. Furyk, Beam, Armour III, Chopra, and last was Axley.

Sucks to lose a friend.
