Okay, so I have a 95 Integra SE in great shape minus the sound system. I've been rocking the tape deck and a busted antenna that gets crappy radio reception for too long now. Also, I have blown all the door speakers. As far as the doors go, I can handle that. What I am looking for is recommendations for subwoofers, amps, and a deck. I had 2 Alpine 12's and a cheap amp in my old car and was happy enough so I don't need it to be the loudest thing on the block, but I definitely want to feel it bump inside. I could care less about IPOD hookups... MP3 is nice but not going to pay a ton more for it on the deck. I want 2 subs and an amp. And a deck that looks halfway decent.

Any suggestions?

i have some stuff i'm looking to sell:

cadence a7hc monoblock amp. rated at over 1000 watts rms @ 1 ohm

2 12" infinity perfects in sealed enclosure

panasonic CD deck

6.5" CDT component speakers

i got a new deck to play mp3's and went w/ a diff sub setup to save space in my trunk. pics are available

ive been happy with fosgate equipment. im' running one 12 w/ an RF amp and it hits hard enough. jl stuff is always good, though some of the newer stuff is pretty expensive. alpine has always been the industry leader for decks, at least before the newer models. but their faces aren't eye candy like some of the other brands.

Stop gambling and buy a new car...

LOL

Haha screw off I'm still in college and the car has less than 100K miles on it. Doing quite well and I paid it all off when I bought it. :finger:

If you want to sell cheap, I may be interested. I don't want to spend a ton of cash on this... just a few hundred. Like I said, I don't really need a system that everyone can hear. This is more just for me.

Look into the windows of cars in a parking lot and when you see something you like just take it.

Better yet, smash out your window and tell your insurance company you had a very expensive stereo system stolen.

Jake

Do yourself a favor and give me a yell before you buy anything. I can get any kind of car accessories on the cheap brand new.

Just tryin to bust your balls a little.

check out ebay.. amp is going to be important.. if you're looking for a sound system just for you.. skip the monster subs with 3oz magents.. get high end components.. check out www.crutchfield.com you'll be able to figure out the size of the speakers for oyur make and model of car, and then make a decision..
buying used isn't always a bad idea..
I've had RFosgate in the past.. JL is solid.. depending on if you want low end bass or not I should be able to help you make a decision
ask a mod for my e-mail and I'll correspond with you through there

I'll do that later tonight when I have more time (get your email).

I'm really confused about the crutchfield.com site. The car was sold to me as a 1995 Acura Integra Special Edition but they only list Integra and Integra GSR. I have pulled up pictures of both and they aren't the same car. Mine is the only one I've ever seen with gold Acura emblems and leather interior so I'm a little confused if this thing was customized or came this way.

NM I found a picture of the SE version so crutchfield just doesn't list it.
