Well it is in fact exciting to those making below $150,000 a year. However, most of those people around here probably dont pay taxes anyway!

I hope that most people who get the $800 or so, spend it on tangible items around the house. Spend the money on furniture, electronics or some place else that will help the economy.

Are you serious? So after they blow 800 on worthless shit, then they can proceed to have the bank foreclose on there home? Seriously dude, people are in debt like never before. Including me. If they are out buying toys that is dumb as hell plus it won't do one damn thing to help the economy except for a few retail stores. The $1200 I receive will go to pay bills.

So is it a 1200 max or not. I heard 600 single, 1200 married couple, +300 each kid. I also heard maybe 1200 max.

Individuals who pay income taxes would get up to $600, working couples $1,200 and those with children an additional $300 per child under the agreement.
Workers who make at least $3,000 but don’t pay taxes would get $300 rebates.
