I cant back it up with figures but it seems to me when a Team is steamed by a couple of points against a heavy favourite, many win Straight up. The other is the steam, not nessesarily 2 points involves one Team completely under performing and the Total going under. :drink:

Can u give a recent example win, I find these stats very useful.

I wish I could but I throw all my figures on paper out every Day but I've laid many recently on the spread and just noticed them getting beat SU :drink:

To test this, you would have to figure the dog's closing ML and see if they win more often than they should based from the ML.

Yes you are correct as usual D2 and the Dog winning outright may be lately type thing but the unders are definitely hitting in these Games, again it might be a lately thing. :drink:

I'm assuming steamed toward the heavy favorite as in the fave goes from something like -6 to -8, correct? Is there a limit to the point spread for the favorite where you will not take the dog on the ML?

Winbet:

The heavy dogs that are steamed down cover more then not, but don't win outright that often in college hoops. By heavy dog, I am defining them as double digit. Another definition may yield different results.

I'm laying these Dogs and as normal this time of the year most are not covering but those that do are winning outright. As for the Totals I'm not so sure as I dont lay them but I do watch the Games I've laid and a lot of the times one of the Teams dont turn up. I know you could say that about any game but losing on games sharpens the awareness of what happened and win or lose the steam games are going under a lot. :drink:

The under is on any steam Dog or Fav and the only one left tonight is the Idaho St game and just to make a complete fool of myself I'll have $100 on the under. :drink:
