Allele, as a valid word, can't be trademarked.
It would help to know the likely direction of the company. Any name needs to be carefully checked with the trademark register to ensure it is sufficiently different from what exists. A logo is also as, if not more, important.
I like Celene, but its already registered, Cellene might be OK.
