Congrats to the Mets for absolutely ass fucking the Twins by giving us nothing for one of the best pitchers in the game. Santana is exactly what the Mets needed and you didn't have to give up anyone decent. Twins fans here are pissed off big time listening to the radio on the way home from work.

I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY DIDN'T ASK FOR MAINE OR PEREZ AS PART OF THE DEAL FOR ONE OF THE TOP PITCHERS IN THE GAME...THE TWINS DID OFFER A MORE THAN FAIR DEAL TO THE GUY, SO YOU CAN'T KICK THEIR ASS TOO MUCH...WHAT ARE TWINS TICKETS BY FIRST BASE. FOR MANY OF OURS NEXT YR THEY WILL BE $100 EA. THE PHILLIES ARE AROUND HALF THAT FOR MOST GAMES.:toast:

one never knows...who the heck thought Colorado of all teams last yr.

if the Mets stay healthy they should definitely be the the big fav. but as we learned last yr. you have to play the games amd the Mets certainly did not!!!!!!!!!

agree with bestplay2day's post earlier minny did not get a single player out of the four who will have any impact. I believe minny knows they cannot afford santana and dumped him. so much for small markets and no salary cap.

mets got best deal in 10 years in baseball.

The Mets will definately be there with the Phillies trailing I feel as if the age of the Atlanta Staff will catch up with them and they will fall off

The fact that the Mets will be the talk of the town will give them more than enough motivation to make it to the playoffs IMO
