August 15th/16th
-dont have to deal with labor day holiday
-probably easier to get rooms, more money for better party
-same date as the first few RX bashes

August 29th/30th
-labor day may help people stay longer
-NCAAF has started
-rooms/hotel choice may be harder to come by

september 5th/6th
-NFL week 1, good to watch games together

*Please note, this poll is not necessarilly the sole determinor of when the bash will be, there are other considerations as well such as hotel availability and other things. We are simply trying to get a rough idea of our members preference. We will do our best to annouce a FIRM bash date on March 1.

PLEASE BE SURE TO VOTE IN THIS POLL EVEN IF YOU ALREADY VOTED IN THE FIRST POLL.

my #1 goes to NFL week 4....but out of these 3, much rather go with mid-Aug....this will be easy to get off work and I won't be broke yet from college football

i like the idea of having the bash earlier with more money for a better party and hopefully less rx'ers will have this weekend booked up so more can attend.

I like the middle of August...easier because I don't think I can get away from college or pro football weekends because of work..

I will ask again, what do you guys think the chances would be of someone under 21 getting into the Rx Bash festivities?

I am quite mature for my age, and do look 20+, but would hate to make the long trip from East Coast Canada, to Vegas only to get kicked out...

Matt..you can enter any casino or venue, but you just can't drink...nobody is going to kick you out at the BASH...even if you get caught gambling, they will just tell you to stop, or let other guys bet for you at the sportsbook...

I will take your word for this Viejo. At the casinos here in Nova Scotia they ask for id and most have a security guard or even a cop standing by the door, so I have yet to get into one.

If you say I can get in and have a good time at the Rx Bash, I will try my best to be there.

See you in August sir.

When I was 20yrs 6 months old I got kicked out of a gang of different casinos. I then went on my 21st bday and only got carded once and that was when I went to cash in $750 worth of chips.

ABSOLUTELY stoked about the August 15th date!

The only better time would be in July! School starts in Texas 2 days after the bash, but the kids can stay with my parents!

I hope the Rx takes into consideration that people in support of an August date might be split due to two options instead of one.

IMO, if there are more votes for both August dates COMBINED than the September date, everything possible should be done to ensure that the Bash is on one of those two August dates.

I'm supporting the early date if it means that's when the most possible people can attend.
I certainly would like to see the Costa Rican Rx'ers make a trip and that would be the best time for them.

The Bash should be more about seeing old friends and acquaintances than watching football games in my opinion. The football actually detracts from getting to know each other and/or hanging out in a way because everyone is sweating their games instead of meeting up.

Also from a budget perspective, the early August date will be much, much cheaper than the other two. That means greater giveback to the Rx community instead of spending it on exorbitant room and catering prices. Not a lot of us look at it from this vantage point, but I can tell you it does make a big difference.

I'd like to return to the magic of the 2006 Bash when Clubman Coop was practically hyperventilating as Elvis dealt out a 10,000 hand, when porn stars frolicked amongst Rx'ers, and when drink tickets were flowing as freely as the water in SkinsRaj's shower. Albeit at a different venue than that year (Planet Hollywood was an excellent site last year), but with that vibe.

I agree with you Gyno. Some of us are planning on the SBR event which is Aug 22-23. Either weekend allows some of us to pay for the 5 weekdays and get two ( more expensive) weekends added on for a 9-day stay.

Airfare may be cheaper for us by avoiding the holiday weekend, and rooms should be cheaper for RX, so I like the earlier Aug. date.

I should have read this post before voting, youre right. i enjoyed watching the sunday nfl but if people like vd,coach, skins and dsethi can only make it aug 15/16 thats more important than the nfl games.

can a mod change my vote to aug 15/16

I'd rather see people and have some beers and hit the craps table and what not with these jokers rather than sit in a sportsbook watching football

just my personal opinion

Damn sounds like I won't be able to make it this year. Not going to Vegas twice in three weeks I don't suspect.
