Talking to a friend yesterday who bred his purebred male & female German Shepards. Both dogs were actually from Germany. Well the female had a litter of 8 puppies. An hour or 2 later the litter was down to 5. My friend concluded the mother ate 3 of the puppies. The next day only 3 puppies were left. Mom ate 2 more overnite. I was like get out, The mom wouldn't eat her puppies. He's like believe me she did. I didn't know this happens. But I guess Mother dogs are known to eat their own. Only the strong survive. I learned somrthing new yesterday.
