"Due to the lopsided matchup in the super bowl the NFL has decided to suspend the following New England Patriot players - Tom Brady, Randy Moss, and Rodney Harrison - for a total of 2 full periods each.
They will all begin serving their suspension at 6:30pm EST on Sunday February 3, 2008. They will be required to serve the suspensions in the locker-room where the NFL will provide refreshments and a TV so they may watch the commercials.
They will be eligible to return to the team and playing field at the commencement of the third period.
We do hope this will make the 2008 Super Bowl more enjoyable to our audience and more competitive."
